Commissions
Commissions now open. Inspire your own queer story.
Many moons ago, I used to ask for prompts when people joined my Facebook group. I made no promises, but I said I would try and write them a short drabble for their birthdays to share with the group.
It was super fun to do, because I started with whatever they gave me and my brain went bright and shiny and often I just had a whole story fall into my head.
Now I have decided to give the same process a go as commissions. I hope shorter stories will make readers happy and I find they often invigorate my brain when it needs a break from one of my monster-sized novels.
How does it work?
1. You submit a prompt* and a desired word count.
2. I review your submission and tell you what I think I can do (some tropes are gonna ask for space, you know what I mean?)
3. We agree on a word count, a price, and a delivery date. You pay a small deposit.
4. I get to work on your story/drabble/novel. If I see it’s running long, I’ll let you know, maybe give you a choice about how to continue the storyline. Sometimes I have to ask my tarot cards because the characters aren’t talking to me, I figure I can ask you instead! Though if/when the guys come back offline, I gotta stick to what they say, they are the bosses of me ;p
5. You get the story in your preferred format with a cover designed by me or my cover artist (this will depend on availability and the length/tropes, ask me more if you want).
6. At least a month after you get your hands on it, I publish the story in retailers/my website with a dedicated foreword to you and your original prompt. You can choose to have your own name or a pseud/initials here. You get a copy in all formats of the final file (with all they typos really dead ;p)
*Ideal prompt format includes: the characters’ basic traits, kinks, tropes and the situation.
Cost: 0,08 cents per word (Dollar or Euro, other currencies to be converted)
So $80 for 1,000 words, $160 for 2,000 words, etc.
It’s very likely that you will get about 20% over the agreed word count. I genuinely have never managed to write under the word count in my life, so that will be an unexpected gift!
